Welcome to Ocean City, Maryland. But if you want to play slots or gamble you will need to drive a few miles north to Delaware. They will gladly take all of your money - and use it for Delaware schools, roads and other needs - to help defray taxes. In Maryland we really don’t mind paying high sales taxes, high income taxes, extremely high property taxes and real estate transfer taxes.

Meanwhile you can drop the family off in Rehoboth Beach while you hit the casino. Rehoboth is only a couple gallons of gas from Dover.
